Shipping policy
As an International or EU customer, are there any other charges (orders from the UK)?
- Any Customs, Excise Duties, VAT (Taxes) and/or Customs Clearance Fees are NOT included in the item price or shipping charges. EU Countries seem to have different policies in place, so you MAY or MAY NOT be charged extra.
- As a result of Brexit, EU countries are responding differently; they seem to have different policies in place, which makes their charging unpredictable.
- Some of our customers are not being charged anything, whereas some have been charged between 10 and 32 Euros, for example, for ordering 1 book.
Receiving Orders Outside of the UK (from the UK)
- Please note - parcels being delivered outside of the UK may be delivered to the recipient’s closest parcel shop. You will be notified by the courier with regards to the postal office that you will need to collect your parcel from, which will usually be the recipient's local postal office.
How can I get in touch about my order, and when will you respond?
- Please contact us on orders@ibndaudbooks.com. Customers using direct messages or DMs via Instagram will be asked to contact us on orders@ibndaudbooks.com because we’re a very small family business as well as we want to ensure any information we exchange is secure and protected.
- Please do get in touch with us first if you have any issues with your order. We will try our very best to resolve the issue directly with you ASAP. We do appreciate that sometimes you may wish to get your payment card provider involved however even they (e.g. PayPal) prefer customers to work with the seller first and foremost just in case there’s a simple misunderstanding that can be resolved very quickly.
- We will respond within 72 hours, though we will try to get back to you earlier if we can.
- We do not respond to any emails on Saturdays and Sundays.
When will you despatch my order?
- We can take up to 2 working days to process and then despatch your order. This means your order MAY BE despatched immediately on the same day, and hence we do not accept cancellations for this reason.
- NO orders are despatched on Saturdays or Sundays.
- During peak seasons or sales events, processing times might be slightly extended, but we always aim to process orders as swiftly as possible.
Why hasn’t my order been despatched?
- Unfortunately we are unable to despatch an order to an address that our system has identified as incorrect.
- If this happens, we will email you within 3-4 working days, asking for you to clarify your address. Please check your junk folder for such emails.
- If we do not receive a response within 7 working days, we will cancel your order and your money will be refunded. Please go to: https://ibndaudbooks.com/returns-policy/
- Please ensure all address details that are provided at the time of order placement are complete and accurate to avoid unnecessary delay.
What if I want to change my order, including the address?
- We have a very small, family-based, customer services team, so we are only able to respond within 72 hours, and we do not respond to any emails on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Therefore, your order MAY BE despatched immediately, on the same day, by our separate fulfilment team and hence we can not change your order where this has occurred.
- We will however do our best to accommodate you assuming your order has NOT been despatched already.
- To avoid disappointment, please ensure you select the correct product(s) or insert the correct address first time.
What if I inserted an incorrect address, and it has been shipped?
- For the reasons mentioned above, it may have been shipped already.
- If the order HAS been returned to and received by us (e.g. because the order was rejected by the receiver, or the address could not be found because it was incorrect), we are more than happy to send it out again. However you will have to pay a £1.50 despatch cost + the cost of shipping again.
- If the order has NOT been returned to and received by us (e.g. orders very rarely get lost in the post), we cannot ship the item again unless it has been re-ordered via our website.
How can I track my item?
- You will immediately receive an email notification from orders@ibndaudbooks.com regarding your order.
- You will then receive another email notification from us with either a delivery number so that delivery can be confirmed or a tracking number so that you can track the delivery of your item(s) to your doorstep.
- Please check your junk folder in case email notifications regarding your order have ended up there.
- If you encounter any issues with tracking, or if you have any concerns or questions about your order’s progress, please contact our customer support team.
Delivery Attempts
- Our shipping partners will attempt delivery to the provided shipping address.
- If the delivery is unsuccessful, they may leave a delivery attempt notice, or you might be contacted directly for further instructions.
- It’s important to provide accurate and accessible shipping information to ensure successful delivery.
How quickly will I receive my item?
UK & US Mainland:
- After your order has been processed:
- The UK lead time for delivery is around 4 working days (fully tracked).
- The US lead time is stated clearly when you select your shipping option.
Rest of the World:
- The end to end lead time is between 2 and 3 weeks.
India & Pakistan Mainland:
- After your order has been processed, orders will be shipped via our selected shipping carriers. The estimated shipping time is usually between 4 to 7 business days.
- However, delays might occur due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, public holidays, or carrier issues. We will provide tracking information once your order is dispatched.

My shipping options only show UK. But don’t you ship worldwide?
- Yes we do. Simply click on ‘Proceed To Checkout’ and select the country you wish to ship to in the ‘Shipping details’ section (below ‘Billing details’).
- If your country still does not appear, please ensure that your country has been entered correctly.
- A message will appear if there are currently no shipping options available for your specific country or region, or if the system is not currently set up for the size of your order.
- Contact us immediately at orders@ibndaudbooks.com if you have any issues. We will respond to address this ASAP so that you can make your order.
What happens if your Delivery or Tracking Reference says it’s been delivered, but it has not been?
- Give it 1-2 working days. Royal Mail, for example, may have already processed your item as ‘delivered’ however last minute, may have come across delivery issues, which means they’ll most probably deliver the next working day. This has occurred in the past.
How much is shipping?
- Delivery charges are specified at checkout, and obviously depend upon the country to which your item is being shipped, as well as the weight and dimensions of your order.
- We may offer free shipping promotions during certain periods or for specific order values, as indicated on our website.
Address Accuracy
- Please ensure that your shipping address is accurate and complete. We cannot be held responsible for delayed or undelivered items due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.
- If you need to make changes to your shipping address after placing an order, kindly contact our customer support team as soon as possible.
- However, please be aware that your order may have already been despatched.
Other Policies Not Currently Applicable
**Pre-orders**
When will my Pre-order be despatched?
- Pre-orders for 'A Handbook of Prophetic Characteristics' will be despatched on a first-come first-served basis during week commencing XXX in sha Allah. We do ask for your patience as this is a very busy period for us.
- Please do note that if any other books are ordered alongside our new book, that order (which includes our new book) will ALSO be despatched on a first-come first-served basis during week commencing XXX in sha Allah.
What are Pre-orders?

Where books are currently on ‘pre-order’, this section will state when our new stock is expected to arrive in the UK in sha Allah.
- Pre-orders can be made whilst we are out of stock, in anticipation of stock arriving, i.e. you can make a ‘pre-order’ to reserve your book(s) for when our new print arrives.
- We will also keep you updated via our website as well as our Instagram page as soon as our new print stock has arrived in the UK and is ready to be despatched.
**Sale Periods**
Sale period policies supersede any policies mentioned further below during ‘normal’ non-sale periods.
- Orders can NOT be amended (including products, names and addresses). We are a very small team who are not able to respond immediately (lead time mentioned below) and therefore your order will most probably have been despatched already.
- Discount codes do NOT work on sale prices.
- There is NO free shipping with orders over £50.

Any orders made during this sale period are being despatched in a staggered way on a first come first served basis, in sha Allah.
- Please be patient. Our small fulfilment team were also fasting and celebrating Eid with their familes.
**Covid-19**
How will Covid-19 impact my delivery?
- We endeavour to despatch your order ASAP, however we ultimately do not have control of delivery lead times.
- Deliveries may not occur on time and as scheduled, so please do understand if you receive your order later than expected.
- Royal Mail (known as ‘Standard Shipping’) deliveries are competitively priced, however do take longer.
- Due to the XXX coronavirus situation, Royal Mail is no longer asking the recipient to sign for items delivered on or after Saturday 14 March 2020 TBC.
